The Prize D4D is a biennial initiative of the AfricaMuseum with the support of the Belgian Ministry for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (DGD).

Earlier this year, Akaboxi received a loan from the OVO Acceleration Fund, managed by the King Baudouin Foundation.
