Elisabeth and Amélie Fund – improve access to clean water

Since 2007, the Elisabeth and Amélie Fund has been working to improve access to drinking water and, more generally, to promote responsible water management in Africa, Latin America and Asia.

Each year, the Fund launches two calls for proposals:

  • Support to Belgian organisations

To improve access to water and sanitation in African countries in particular, in partnership with local organizations.

Since 2007, 191 projects providing concrete solutions have been selected by an independent jury for a total amount of more than € 4.900.000.

The 2021 call is now closed. The next call will be launched in January 2022.

  • Scholarships for students

To facilitate the mobility of students from the South who are perfecting their studies in Belgium on water-related issues, and who want to carry out their internship in their own country or in another country in the South. Since 2015, 60 scholarships have been awarded.

You can now apply until October 19, 2021.
