Since 2007, the Elisabeth and Amélie Fund has been working to improve access to drinking water and, more generally, to promote responsible water management in Africa, Latin America and Asia.
Each year, the Fund launches two calls for proposals:
To improve access to water and sanitation in African countries in particular, in partnership with local organizations.
Since 2007, 174 projects providing concrete solutions have been selected by an independent jury for a total amount of more than € 4.452.000.
The 2020 call for projects is closed. The next call will be launched in early 2021.
To facilitate the mobility of students from the South who are perfecting their studies in Belgium on water-related issues, and who want to carry out their internship in their own country or in another country in the South. Since 2015, 60 scholarships have been awarded.
Given the global health circumstances, there is no call for applications 2020-2021.Back to Some initiatives
